Thank you

Thank you to everyone in our Oakwood family, for your support, patience and understanding during an incredibly difficult period of transition for all of us.  HUGE thanks to our fabulous teachers for all their preparation, starting way back on 16th March (which feels like a lifetime ago) and continuing daily.  To the mums, dads, extended families, well done on beginning to adapt to home learning, many whilst juggling full time jobs - you have my complete empathy, as I juggle with my work and two home schooled girls in our house! Finally, and most importantly, you guys... our gorgeous, Oakwood children... your pictures, posts, rainbows and videos have kept me going this week and remind me why I love our Oakwood family so much.  I miss seeing you and greeting you at the gate each morning.  I miss the happy chatter and all your lunchtime chats. Most of all I miss the normal every day things. As we all adapt to the ‘new normal,’ we will continue learning , working and playing together for a better tomorrow.  Switch off, have a great weekend and I’ll see you all back here on Monday.  Mrs H 😊
