We have really enjoyed learning all about frogs.

P2 have been loving Well-being Wednesdays. Lots of them are taking the time to get outdoors.

P2 loved their Superhero topic. They completed some fantastic superhero writing and some very creative superhero crafts! 

All of P2 have loved drawing, painting and colouring in rainbows to display in their home windows. 

Cohen enjoyed our rainbow science experiment that showed how the water molecules helped spread the rainbow colours along the kitchen roll! 

P2 loved reading the story of the "Little Red Hen" and lots of them had a go at baking some bread, just like the Little Red Hen had done in the story. 

We had a brilliant time in Primary 2 celebrating European Languages Day. We learnt Irish and Scottish Gaelic words, music and even a little Céilí dancing!

We all shared other languages that we hear at home and learnt how to say hello in many languages.

We have been learning about castles in primary 2 . We read books, found out facts and built castles using Minecraft . Here are some of our amazing castles ! 

The primary 2 class had a fantastic Eco super learning day. We had great fun making collages from found objects, paper plate sunflowers, planting vegetable and flower seeds and building greenhouses in Minecraft. 

We were so lucky to be invited to Stormont to take part in a celebration of integrated education. 

We took part in an exciting drama session with other schools to celebrate our theme 'harmony'.

We have been working very hard in P2 celebrating World Maths Day. We made patterns, played number bingo and shopping games !

In P2 we have been having fun investigating different numbers. Here we are making different amounts and arranging them from the smallest to the largest amount.

No, we're not watching our weight, but we are learning all about weighing with non-standard units! Here we are having fun weighing with blocks.
